House of King is a boutique indie author collective, built by authors for authors, here to support creatives who want to tell daring, emotional, and deeply addictive stories without playing by the old-school rules.

Our mission is to champion authors, help them grow, and empower them to succeed. Whether that means self-publishing, building a brand, or simply getting powerful stories into the hands of readers who need them most, we’re here for it.

We live and breathe romance in all its forms. Meet the Founder:

Hi, I’m Samantha — the writer, chaos coordinator, and founding voice behind House of King.

I’m a lifelong book nerd who’s been devouring spicy, twisty, emotionally messy stories for years. I spent over a decade building content and community in the online space… until the algorithm gods shifted the game and then a diagnosis of POTS forced me to slow down and rethink what truly mattered.

That pivot led me here—to fiction. Writing it, publishing it, and helping others do the same. I created House of King not as a traditional publisher, but as a collective. A homegrown, author-first space rooted in support, creativity, and zero gatekeeping.

Whether you’re writing closed-door faith-filled love stories or morally grey chaos wrapped in barbed wire, there’s room for you here. We’re a space for rebels, rule-breakers, and storytellers who refuse to fit a mold—and know that every kind of romance deserves to be told.
